The release of 235 acres of land used by the Jaffna Security Forces Headquarters and the handing over of the lands to the farmers for agriculture in keeping with the Government’s agricultural modernisation program was held at the Palali Air Force Base on Friday morning, March 22 under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Here the President is in conversation with a beneficiary farmer. The President’s Chief of Staff Sagala Ratnayaka and Army Commander Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage were also present.
