Trinity name captains
Trinity College have named Jaywanth Vishuwadesh as their swimming captain and Kashyapa as the vice captain. Aveesh Wanniarachchi has been named as their basketball captain and Sasitha Heenegama as the vice captain.
Kingswood-Dharmaraja one-dayer
The 34th one day cricket encounter between Kingswood College and Dharmaraja College will be played on March 31 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. The game will be played for the Winston Hoole Trophy.
Buddhika to coach Sylvestrians
St. Sylvester’s College has enrolled Buddihka Abeysinghe as their new rugby coach for the 2024 season. He was a talented player during his school days at Vidyartha College and led the school in 2007 and also played for the Sri Lanka schools side in 2005 and 2007.
Straight from school he played for Kandy Sports Club in the years 2008 and 2009 and later took up to coaching and gave a big hand to Trinity College and later Dharmaraja College.
