The blood red flowers bloom
The passion and compassion evoke
The love awakened
And people are all friends
The sweet scent of Erabadu flowers
And the sweet aroma of cashew apples
The koel chirps
It looks like a crow
The Sinhala and Tamil New Year
It is from the house of Pisces
To the house of Aries
And green grass and golden rice
The simple house
Made with sticks and wattle
With delicious milk rice
And traditional kokis
The unity of man
The prosperity of man
The golden harvest
And the delight
