Richmond College will meet St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa in the semi-final of the Under-19 division 1 Tier A and B schools limited overs cricket tournament on April 1 and 2 at Ace Capital CC ground Colombo 5.
Richmond advanced to the quarter-final having emerged champions in their group ‘X’ while St. Sebastian’s advanced after finishing as runners-up of their group ‘Y’ in the first round.
Richmond beat Nalanda and St. Sebastian’s beat their arch rival Prince of Wales College in the quarter-finals.
Deputy skipper of Sri Lanka Under-19 team Malsha Tharupathi will lead Richmond with Sharon Abhishek as the deputy skipper.
St. Sebastian’s will be led by Manuja Chanthuka with Vimath Dinsara as the deputy skipper.
