The Bangladesh High Commission in Sri Lanka organized the 104th birth anniversary celebrations of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day at the mission’s premises recently.
It was held under the patronage of the High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Tareq Md Ariful Islam
Children’s presented various cultural programs and the High Commissioner and senior journalist Daya Dissanayake presented prizes for the children who took part in various contests.
High Commissioner Islam along with Senior Journalist and children of the Bangaladesh cuts the cake at this ceremony.
Colombo Times Chief Editor Mohammed Rasooldeen and media personnel including High Commission officials and community members and invitees were present.
