The University of Colombo emerged champions at the Government Services ‘C’ Division badminton championships held in connection with the All-Island Sports Festival 2024 in Colombo on Thursday.
The champion team comprised Indeewari Karunarathne, Shashithanganee Weerawansa, Wasantha Ratnayake and Tharindra Weerakoon. They have now been promoted to play in the ‘B’ division from next season.
