Assetline Leasing and David Pieris Leisure have come forward to sponsor the first ever Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) T+10 tournament 2024 on April 27 and 28 and continued on May 4 and 5.
The following 16 MCA teams will participate in this historic event.
Recovery Room, Powerhand Plantations, Peoples Leasing Co., South Asia Gateway Terminals, Camera LK, Ansell Textiles, George Steuarts Health, Central Finance, Emar Pharma, Certis Lanka, Softlogic Life, Citizens Development Business Finance, David Pieris Group of Companies, Abans Group, Hilton Colombo Residencies and Maliban Biscuits.
The tournament will be conducted on matting wickets, using the white ball, with players attired in coloured clothing, in two stages, playing a total of 31 matches.
The 16 teams will be pooled in to four groups and firstly will be engaged in a round robin, in the league stage, consisting 24 matches.
At the completion of the league stage, the two top teams of each group will advance to the knock-out quarter-finals.
