The first leg of the Bradby Shield rugby encounter between Trinity College and Royal College will be played in Colombo on August 24 and the second leg in Kandy on September 7.
This will be the 78th match in the series where Trinity has won 39 games and Royal 36 with two draws.
The last time Trinity won was in 2014 under Tarinda Ratwatte’s captaincy and Royal’s last win was in 2023 under the captaincy of Randul Bandara.
Both teams are said to be well balanced this season.
