All-rounder Sahan Arachchige took four wickets for eight runs in just 2.1 overs as SLC Greens recorded an 82-run win over SLC Yellows in their T20 World Cup preparation match at the Premadasa stadium in Colombo yesterday.
SLC Greens scored 183 for 8 wickets in 20 overs as opener Kamil Mishara (42) and Ravindu Fernando (47) made useful contributions.
Dilshan Madushanka, Wanindu Hasaranga and young Dunith Wellalage took two wickets each.
Wellalage increased his tally to 10 wickets in the series.
Hasaranga and left arm paceman Dilshan Madushanka bowled for the first in the series after recovering from injury which was good news for Sri Lanka team.
SLC Yellows chasing a target of 184 were all out for 101 in 15.1 overs with only Kusal Mendis being among the runs scoring 38 in 22 balls with five fours and six.
The off spinner Sahan Arachchige was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 for 8.
