Sri Lanka’s best golfers will be seen in action at the Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Tournament to be held at the Victoria Golf and Country Club course, Digana from May 13 to 17.
The tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Golf (SLG) will be played on a 72 holes Stroke-Play gross score format over four days.
Men’s amateur golfers with a recognized handicap of below 20 will be permitted to participate. But the women golfers have no limit on their handicap. If more than eight women enter, their results will forwarded to WAGR separately for the ranking purposes.
Prize money for the men will be Rs. 20,000 to the winner, Rs. 12,500 to the first runner-up and Rs. 7,500 to the second runner-up according to the organisers.
A minimum of five players should participate and the winner will receive Rs. 10,000. (TBR)
