IORA Business Conclave 2024 from May 28-29

The Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Business Conclave on May 28 and 29, will focus on sectors significant to the economic development and prosperity of the Indian Ocean Rim region, including Agriculture, ICT, Logistics, and Tourism, including breakout sessions on SME Development and Women Empowerment.

It is being organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As the Chair of the Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF) for 2023 – 2025, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will host the Business Conclave, which aims to foster strategic alliances, explore untapped markets, and capitalise on emerging trends across these vital sectors critical to global economic development.

Participating countries include Australia, Bangladesh, France, India, Iran, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, and Türkiye among others, ensuring significant business networking and facilitation opportunities and capitalize on emerging trends, unlocking the immense potential of the Indian Ocean Rim region.

The Conclave will feature a multifaceted agenda, including a strategicnetworking reception, plenary sessions, and several sector-focused breakout sessions followed by B-2-B meetings.These sessions will offer insights into disruptive technologies, sustainable practices, and the future of commerce across the Indian Ocean Rim.
