Twenty-six injured in bus accident

At least 26 persons were injured and hospitalised following a head-on collision involving two private buses in Kottapola on the Kegalle – Avissawella main road yesterday evening. Hospital sources said that several injured persons are in critical condition. The Police suspect that the accident was probably caused by the reckless driving of the driver of the bus plying from Kandy to Avissawella.

Pindeniya Police are conducting further investigations.
