Unbeaten NCC recorded their third win in the Major Clubs T20 cricket tournament yesterday when they beat Police SC by eight wickets at Maggona.
Panadura SC beat Colts CC by five runs. NCC beat Police SC by eight wickets in a game restricted to eight overs per inning due to rain.
Two matches, Ragama CC versus CCC at Maggona and Kurunegala YCC versus Bloomfield C & AC were ruined by wet weather.
NCC, Moors SC, Tamil Union C & AC and Colts CC are leading in the points table in their groups.
Four matches will be played today (19) at Bloomfield and P. Sara Oval, the last day in the first round.
NCC, Moors SC, BRC, Tamil Union, Ace Capital CC and Bloomfield have qualified to the quarter-finals.
The quarter-finals will be played at SSC and NCC on May 21. The semi-finals will be at NCC on May 28 and final on May 29 at SSC.
