Allianz Lanka shines at Great Manager Awards 2023

Allianz Life Insurance Lanka Limited and Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited, members of the global Allianz SE Group – received several awards at the Great Manager Awards 2023 recently.

Nine team members from Allianz Lanka received awards this year, marking the sixth consecutive year that Allianz Lanka has been recognised as a “Company with Great Managers”, with 37 staff members having been recognised over the years.

Great Manager awards were presented to Naveen Jayasekara, Vidumini Kaushalya Perera and Chamila Amunugama for Team Effectiveness and Collaboration, Lishan Gunathunga, Madhurika Aththidiya and Kokila Dhanushki for Aligning Organisational Vision, Rishan Jumat for Driving Result and Execution Excellence, and Kavindu Gayan Karunanayake and Malik Peiris as Great Millennial Managers.

Around 30% of Allianz Lanka’s staff who have been recognised as Great Managers are female, underscoring the company’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Chief Distribution Officer at Allianz Insurance, Ranga Dias said, “These awards recognise exceptional excellence amongst our management team.

Thus, we are incredibly proud of the nine dynamic and visionary individuals who have been recognised this year. At Allianz Lanka, we remain committed to delivering excellence both in terms of insurance offerings and customer service.

“It is our managers and their team members who make this possible. Therefore, we remain committed to developing leadership amongst our people, while also equipping them with other skills so that they can reach their maximum potential,” he said.
