Akeef Ahamed, a student at Royal International School in Kurunegala, has published his book, “The Twilight of Tales and Echoes of Eternity.”
According to Ahamed, “Twilight of Tales” means the uncertainty of the short stories in the book.
It is clear that Akeef tries to bring a deeper meaning to life via his work. “The Echoes of Eternity” means the poems that echo the soul to readers.
The book, centred around the theme of nature, showcases Ahamed’s writing skills and inspires readers to pursue their writing endeavours and pay attention to sensitive topics such as nature.

The Dew
The dew on the drip tip
On the greenish grass
On the grass’s lip
And a glass
Around the dew
With a few
On the grass
Now, the blazing sun
Falls for the dew
In a time of few
With the chilly gust
The drizzle falls with dust
To be stun
He evanesce in air
And not rare
The life is a drizzle
Falls in a frizzle
Winter
The cars are cakes
And snow is the icing
She is the one who makes
The cars icing cakes
The pine trees
Are the mountains with snow
The cold gust blows
Has no dust but snow
The roads are milk rivers
The snowmen are laughing
In the chillness of winter
The children are dying of laughter
The night is as in a refrigerator
The burning coldness lights the shaft
The foliage is fallen
And the trees are sleeping
The people are trudging in streets
And they quest for the best
Not for the least food
And they burn the wood
