St. Anthony’s church feast on June 13

The 190th feast of St. Anthony’s shrine, Kochikade, Colombo 13 will be celebrated on June 13. The flagstaff will be hoisted tomorrow, June 3 after the Sinhala and Tamil Mass at 6 am.

Novenas will be sung at 6 p.m. daily from tomorrow till June 11 followed by Holy Mass.

Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith will be the chief celebrant at the Vespers on Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m.

The Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo, the Most Rev. Dr. J.D.Anthony will officiate at the festive High Mass in English on June 13 at 12 noon.

The procession carrying the statue of St. Anthony in a gaily decorated chariot will parade the streets at 5.30 pm and return to the church thereafter.
