Vijayaraja Maha Vidyalaya gets Reverse Osmosis plant

A Reverse Osmosis plant installed at Vijayaraja Maha Vidyalaya, Kalinga Ela, Polonnaruwa was opened by President Lasika Jayamaha of Rotary Club of Colombo North (RCCN) on May 29.

She expressed her enthusiasm and support for the project partnered with Zonta Club II of Colombo, and funded by Past President of RCCN Herman Amerasekera and Mrs. Laurette Amerasekera, which initiative, is in line with RCCN and Zonta Club II of Colombo’s commitment to fulfilling UN Sustainable Development Goal No.6 – clean water and sanitation for all. Treasurer of RCCN Mrs. Chathuri Ranasinghe initiated and coordinated the project with Zonta Club II of Colombo.
