Moscow Medical University dons meet Education Minister

A delegation of top academics of IM Shechenov First Moscow State Medical University, under the leadership of Rector Prof. Petr Glybochko was in Sri Lanka last week for talks with the Minister of Education, Susil Premajayantha, to explore investment opportunities for increased cooperation in the field of higher education in Sri Lanka.

The Minister and the university representatives deliberated on the potential of setting up a medical faculty in Sri Lanka to partner with the IM Shechenov First Moscow State Medical University.

Former Sri Lanka Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Saman Weerasinghe who coordinated this visit and Chief Executive Officer of Russian House in Colombo, Buddhapriya Ramanayaka were also present.
