HNB extends partnership with DIMO Agribusinesses

HNB PLC has extended its partnership with DIMO Agribusinesses the agriculture arm of DIMO, a diversified conglomerate, to provide leasing packages for agriculture machinery.

Building on their successful collaboration, HNB and DIMO Agribusinesses are committed to supporting local agriculture sector by offering their mutual customers an extensive list of discounts and facilities inclusive of low-interest rates, flexible repayment schemes, and exclusive benefits for Agri Machinery provided by DIMO Agribusinesses.

Acting Chief Executive Officer HNB, Damith Pallewatte said, “We are excited to continue our collaboration with DIMO Agribusinesses, further empowering the agricultural community with innovative leasing solutions, including preferential rates for a promotional period on selected brands of tractors and harvesters. “Together, with HNB’s Govi Saviya scheme continuing until the end of the year, and DIMO Agribusinesses’ free farmer kits and after-sales services, we aim to drive agricultural productivity and prosperity in Sri Lanka,” he said.

HNB will offer leasing facilities for new Mahindra and Swaraj tractors as well as CLAAS and Lovol combine harvesters. Customers will also have access to a wide range of discounts and deals through the value-added Prestige Prime credit offered for free with the first-year annual fee waived off.

HNB General Insurance will offer attractive discounts for vehicle insurance premiums in addition to a free life insurance cover for accidental deaths, while HNB Assurance will offer a natural death insurance cover.

Executive Director of DIMO and Director in Charge of Agri Machinery segment of the group, Rajeev Pandithage said, “Embracing cutting-edge technologies and enhancing mechanisation in agriculture are crucial for improving productivity and profitability in the sector.
