SLT-Mobitel conducts Vesak health camp

Teams up with eChannelling and Nawaloka Hospitals:

SLT-Mobitel and eChannelling with the Nawaloka Hospitals Group organised a community health camp titled ‘Sambadiyawe Dhahami Sathkaraya Suwa Sahana Health Camp’ in Ratmalana and Moratuwa on May 19.

The camp provided an opportunity for residents, especially the elderly, to benefit from free blood and diabetes testing, free electrocardiogram (ECGs), eye check-ups, and free spectacles. Qualified medical professionals were also present to offer consultations including advice and sessions on nutrition.

General Manager, Marketing Services, SLT, Anuruddha Suriarachchi, Chief Commercial Officer, Mobitel, Isuru Dissanayake, Head of Business Development, eChannelling, Mohan Ajitkumar, DGM, Provincial Operations, Metro 2, SLT, Lidira Guruge, Head of Marketing, Nawaloka Hospitals, Rasika Thilakarathne and officials of SLT-Mobitel were present.

Maliban Biscuits and ‘Parampara’ traditional incense also partnered with SLT-Mobitel in this initiative.

For citizens who were unable to participate in the Health Camp, SLT-Mobitel facilitated digital access through eChannelling and offered two-weeks of free online medical consultations via the eChannelling platform.
