“All subject streams to be networked and digitalised”

Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said that the education system in all schools will be digitalised by the end of next month.

All subject streams will be networked and digitalised, the Minister said.

He said that nearly 1,500 main schools have been networked and that a pilot project of teaching Artificial Intelligence will be introduced in schools by January next year. The Minister was participating in a program to commence Advanced Level classes for students who recently passed the GCE(OL) examination at Nalanda Vidyalaya, Colombo.
