Former Sri Lanka player Kapila Silva will continue as the Trinity College rugby team manager for the coming season which gets underway on June 14.
Kapila started his rugby at Isipathana College and played as a lock forward and wing forward.
Straight from school he moved to CH and FC in1997 and polished his rugby and in the following year joined CR and FC and in the year 2000 when Kandy Sports Club was celebrating their 125th year he joined and played till 2008.
In 2009 became the team manager of Kandy SC.
He also played for Sri Lanka in the Sevens format.
With all his experience he is sure to continue his good job as the Trinity College senior team rugby manager.
KDHA hockey
The Kandy District Hockey Association has decided to have a men’s and women’s tournament for Kandy clubs.
It is in Kandy where hockey was first played with a proud record of producing some of the top National hockey players and captains among men and women.
