Sanaya Hirudini and Janupa Chandev
Two Sri Lankan kids, one girl and one boy will leave for India today to conest the Asian Gojuryu Karate Championship.
The tour party will consist of team head Sensei WM Damit Bandara, team manager KKC Samanthika, Sanaya Hirudini (Susex Collage, Malabe) and WM Janupa Chandev (Dompe Primary School).
This championship has been arranged to be held in Pune, India.
Sensei Damith Bandara is expected to participate in the election of the South Asian Gojuryu Karate Federation for the Asian and South Asian Congress held there as the Sri Lankan representative of this Asian Gojuryu Karate Federation.
It is a huge championship that is held for athletes who represent the style of Gojuryu Karate in Sri Lanka or who are interested in Gojuryu Karate sport.
