Mahinda College Galle and P. De S. Kularathne College Ambalangoda emerged under-20 boys and girls champions in the basketball tournament of the Southern Province School Games conducted by the Department of Southern Province Education Ministry.
This tournament was conducted by the Department of the Southern Province Education Ministry at Mahinda College last weekend.
Mahinda College beat Dharmasoka College in the boys’ under-20 final while P. De S. Kularathne College beat Sujatha Balika Vidyalaya in the girls’ final.
Six schools qualified for the tournament of the All Island School Games.
