Sensei Damith Bandara, the Sri Lankan representative of the Federation, managed to achieve another valuable goal for the Gojuryu karate athletes and karate lovers by negotiating with the Federation to conduct the 9th Asian Gojuryu Karate Championship for the first time in Sri Lanka.
That opportunity can be considered as another victory for this country according to karate followers.
Bandara said that the 9th Asian Gojuryu Karate Championship is planned to be held in the month of May 2025 for two days on a grand scale at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.
