Last year’s inter school league rugby runners-up Isipathana College had a promising start to their new season as they routed new comers Sri Sumangala by 50 points to 3 in their Dialog inter school match at Havelock Park yesterday.
Isipathana got into a try-scoring mood right from the start and kept up the tempo until the end to have a good workout in the curtain raiser match against the underdog Sri Sumangala who earned a promotion into the top division inter school championship from the B Division last year.
