Ranpokunagama Maha Vidyalaya Buddhist Society organised its first Dansala on Poson Day at the school premises on Friday.
The event featured an oil lamp lighting ceremony and distribution of gram, donated by the schoolchildren. Principal Saman Jayasekera and Ven. Unagalawe Sirinanda Thera of Yatiyana Raja Maha Vihara addressed the gathering, which included schoolchildren and their parents. Deputy Principal I. C. Lalith was also present.
