Defending champs St. Peter’s College outplayed Kingswood Collge by 46 points to 3 in their Dialog trophy inter school league rugby match at Nittawela yesterday.

The Peterites enjoyed the benefit of as many as eight tries, one a penalty-try of which three were converted and all Kingswood could do was rake in three points through a penalty.

At half time the Peterites led 22-00 as they continued their try-scoring spree after smashing Thurstan College 112-0 in their opening match last week.

The moved the ball from the start out-running the defences at every given opportunity which they created.

Kingswood had opportunities of scoring in their favour but lacked the finishing touches and team coordination.

Dharmaraja win

In another game of the same tournament Dharmaraja beat Sri Sumangala College by 32 points to 12 at Bogambara Stadium.

The Rajans scored two goals and three tries and a penalty as against one goal and a try by the losers.
