Ceyline Shipping, the manning agents for Seaspan Ship Management, spruced up a children’s home run by the Arunodhaya Foundation, to mark International Seafarers’ Day, on June 25.

The home is a sanctuary for 30 children facing mental and physical challenges, relying solely on the goodwill of donors and well-wishers to sustain itself. Seaspan’s initiative aimed to ensure that this home continues to provide care, despite the ongoing economic challenges.

The Ceyline Seaspan team provided dry rations, gifts for all 30 children, painted their community building, repaired all damaged beds, and actively engaged with the challenged children through an entertaining act.

Their efforts culminated in a fulfilling meal for the children. Ceyline Shipping embodied the spirit of the occasion.

In the heart of Seaspan’s ethos lies the belief that people are not only their greatest assets, but the very core of their success story.

Seaspan isn’t just a company; it’s a community builder, forging bonds and setting standards that make them an employer of choice globally, a company spokesman said.
