Union Chemicals Lanka PLC was the winner in Manufacturing – Chemical, Ceramic and Glass sector and a runner-up in the Medium Category at the “National Business Excellence Awards 2024” organised by the National Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka.
This recognition was given to the company for its overall business performance and business excellence displayed in all operational perspectives in the chemical industry in Sri Lanka.
Union Chemicals Lanka PLC product portfolio comprises binders for interior and exterior decorative paints, wall fillers and joint compounds, Pigments dispersing agents and synthetic thickeners. It also supplies waterproofing binders for the construction industry and for water proofing Paints.
The company sells a wide range of adhesives from normal stationary applications to most difficult surface bonding adhesives. It also produces adhesives for wet lamination purposes as well as binders for pigment printing applications.
Union Chemicals Lanka PLC supplies fifteen water-based wood coating products to the market.
