India and Sri Lanka will feature in a three-match T20 and ODI series starting at the Pallekele Stadium on July 26.
The Indian team is scheduled to arrive on July 22 but without some of its players that were in the team that won the T20 World Cup last month.
Some of the top players who will not be touring will be Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja who retired from the T20 format last month.
The Indians according to reports are also likely to rest fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah from among the fast bowlers.

July 29: Third T20 at Pallekele
August 1: First ODI at Premadasa Stadium
August 4: Second ODI at Premadasa Stadium
