Guru Wickramsinghe Nritya Samrat Mahotsav 2024 by Dr. Ravibandhu Vidyapathy will be held on July 22 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre, Colombo.
Representing his eight generation long legacy of the traditional Kandyan Dance is Guru Ravibandhu Vidyapathy, master dancer and choreographer. Known for his groundbreaking choreography in the art of oriental ballet the maestro pays tribute to Guru Wickramsinghe in a classical Kandyan solo performance, a rare experience for the dance lovers.
The event is organised by Edgevin Vihan Company and Guru Vikram Singh Gandharva Vidyalaya.
