Rajans take on Science
Today Dharmaraja College will take on Science College, at Nittawela ground in their Dialog trophy inter school league rugby match.
Vidyartha College will play Thurstan and Sri Sumangala College will travel down to Colombo to play S. Thomas College in two other matches.
Gazali snooker champion
Kandy’s 15-year-old Khalid Gazali became the champion in the national snooker event that took place at the Pyramid Snooker Parlour in Kandy.
He was able to beat some top cueists, among them Mohamed Basith in the semi-final and Mohamed Haneef by three frames to one in the final.
