“Coloritectura 24”

“Coloritectura 24” the Art Exhibition of OKI International, Junior school, Wattala, a vivid tapestry of colour techniques was held recently at the J.D.A. Perera Art Gallery, Colombo 7. The event was graced by the Exam Director of the British Council, Dominic Hudson, Chairman, ITN, Sudharshana Gunawardene, the Head of Department of Fine Arts, University of Visual and Performing Arts, Dr. Sathsara Illangasighe, Chairperson of OKI schools network, Niramalee Saparamadu and the Head of Academic Operations of the OKI Network, Chaminda Wickramasooriya and the Principal of the Junior School, Nishanthi Rathnayaka. Almost 800 students from grades 1-7 had expressed their emotions on canvas using various kinds of techniques. The Art teachers at the OKI junior School at Wattala, Madushika Caldera and Nethma Shashini guidance and inspiration was a blessing to the young juniors to express their innate talents.
