Darussalam College launches digital project

Darussalam College, Colombo, launched its Digital Darussalam project at its auditorium recently in collaboration with the Serendib Educational Foundation (SEF).

The event was held under the patronage of the Principal of the College, Nibras Ahamed.

Vice President of the Serendib Educational Foundation, Riza Ismail, delivered the welcome address.

President of the SEF, Fazal Amanulla; Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management Country Manager, Firzan Hashim; and Bakinigahawela Muslim Maha Vidyalaya staff member, Naushad Hashim also spoke.

SEF presented laptops to Darussalam College IT Staff member, Ms. M.S.M. Saleema, and university students. SEF also marked the 34th anniversary of the foundation by presenting a Smart TV, symbolising its ongoing commitment to enhancing educational resources and opportunities.

Darussalam College also launched its inaugural newsletter prepared by the Batch of 99’ and copies were presented to all the guests.

Assistant Principals of the College, Mohamed Raiz, and Haseen Aliyar, along with former staff members of Darussalam College, and the former Principal of Fathima Muslim Ladies College, Shihana Abdul Salam, ex-principals, teachers, and students of Darussalam College were also present.
