Shaktiman, an international agricultural machinery manufacturer, held its dealer conference, Shakti Meet Sri Lanka 2024, in Negombo last week.
The event was held to exchange thoughts, share insights and celebrate mutual success. Over 250 guests were present.
Officials and dealer representatives from renowned Shaktiman channel partners Brown and company, Singer Sri Lanka, Dimo, AGStar Plc, Kugan Motors were felicitated and recognised for contribution to the growth of the Shaktiman brand in Sri Lanka.
Shaktiman, based in Rajkot, India, started manufacturing rotary tillers in 1997 and it has become the world’s largest rotary tiller manufacturer and one of the world’s leading agricultural machinery manufacturing companies.
Shaktiman operates in over 100 countries.
Shaktiman’s Senior Vice President International business, Shashank Watane said that Shaktiman’s aim is to enhance the quality of life of the farmers worldwide.
Shaktiman Country Manager Sri Lanka, Gajaba De Silva said, “Shaktiman educates farmers to achieve maximum capacity with the currently used machinery as well as further mechanisation to save time, labour, money and efficiency.”
Shaktiman has also started work to provide access to mechanisation, which is required for fruit crops such as mango and guava.
Head of Shaktiman International Customer Care, Rajendra Paradkar said, “Around 100 research groups are engaged in the process to identify the future challenges of the agricultural industry in advance.”
