CPA Australia, one of the world’s largest professional accounting organisations – with over 173,000 members working in over 100 countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society Sri Lanka recently.
This agreement highlights increased cooperation between CPA Australia and the organisation and stands as a mark of our mutual commitment to share information and ideas.
“We are deeply honoured to have forged these connections and signing MoUs with organisations such as the CFA Society Sri Lanka enables us to collaborate effectively and empower young talent with the latest accounting and finance knowledge and skills,” said President and Chair of CPA Australia Board, Dale Pinto.
“We are working to ensure that these kind of MOU’s initiatives remain relevant and responsive to the profession and have a strong focus on the emerging knowledge areas required by employers, such as Digital Finance, Data Analytics, Ethics and Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance, or ESG.
“It’s a great opportunity to join hands to nurture more accounting and finance talents, and benefit our members through various events and collaborations in Sri Lanka,” he said.
