A new electric tricycle was presented to a differently-abled war veteran recently. Defence Secretary General (rtd) Kamal Gunaratne presented the electric tricycle to the beneficiary war veteran HBMR Ariyaratne at the Defence Ministry.
The electric tricycle sponsored by Vemindra Sangakkara was presented to the beneficiary war veteran who had retired on medical grounds after being wounded in action in Kilinochchi during the humanitarian operation.
This electric tricycle would greatly enhance the mobility of this deserving war veteran in his day-to-day activities.
