Special bus service for Kandy Esala Perahera

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) will run a special day and night bus service from August 14 to 19 for the Esala Perahera in Kandy.

Four hundred and thirty eight buses will be deployed across all destinations in the Kandy district. One hundred more buses will be deployed from Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Kurunegala, Kegalle, Colombo, Nawalapitiya, and other regions under the Perahera transport plan.
