Access Group announced it will sponsor the Monthly Medal golfing event to be held on August 30 and 31 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club where 225 golfers will compete.
In a media statement Access Group said it has committed to sponsor the Monthly Medal at the Royal Colombo Golf Club for the next three years and the partnership is a testament to the company’s dedication to community engagement and support for the golfing community.
Tournament organisers said the Monthly Medal is a highly anticipated event at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, drawing seasoned golfers and enthusiasts to demonstrate their skills in a competitive environment and players could look forward to winning attractive prizes.
“We are excited to partner with the Royal Colombo Golf Club for the Monthly Medal and look forward to a fantastic turnout,” said Shamal Perera, Managing Director of Access International.
“My father Sumal Perera, Chairman of the Access Group, has been a member of the RCGC for over 30 years and I have enjoyed playing golf there for over 20 years. We felt it was important to give back to the club that has been a significant part of our lives.”
