In a good game of rugby St. Sylvester’s College beat Richmond College by 21 points to 14 at the Bogambara stadium in Kandy yesterday.
Although there was a winner in the end, the scoreline did not indicate that the Sylvestrians were better in their approach as Richmond played with purpose and could have also come off as winners.
Eventually it was left to the forwards to make the difference for the Kandy team.
The home team was also saved by some good tackling as the Richmond team ran the ball well with some accurate passing.
