Students of Rahula Balika Vidyalaya, Malabe, recently presented their annual performing arts concert, Rahal Siyathrabhisheka – 2024 at the Tower Hall in Colombo. The event was held under the patronage of the Principal Thanoja Rangodage, Deputy Principals, and Assistant Principals.
Students from Grades six to thirteen showcased their talents through a variety of performances, including drama, group dances, speeches, and other activities. The concert also showcased their skills in both individual and group performances, reflecting the school’s enthusiasm for moulding wholesome citizens.
The event was graced by Divisional Education Director (Kaduwela Zone), Anuradha Samarakoon, Sri Jayewardenepura Education Zone Director, Nirmala Kumari Ekanayake, and veteran film producer, Renuka Balasooriya, the chief guests. The success of the concert was made possible through the collective efforts of aesthetic subject teachers, other faculty members, parents and the students.
