The “World of Wonders” Kindergarten Art and Craft Exhibition, which was an artistic expression of the Amal International School’s Kindergarten Section held last month, showcased the remarkable talents of the young children, brimming with colour and creativity.

The event was graced by the Director of Finance at Lake House, a former Director of the National Institute of Education and Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Sunil J. Nawaratne, and Chairman, Amal International School, M.A.M. Hakeem. The school Principal, Razeen Assan was also among the guests.
The exhibition showcased over 20 unique art and crafts pieces created by each child. Many visitors, including parents on the first day and primary students on the second day, marvelled at the colourful and vibrant displays.
In his address, Dr. Nawaratne emphasised the significance of such exhibitions in fostering well-rounded development in children. He highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity and artistic expression alongside academic pursuits.
The principal, Razeen Assan (M.ED), highlighted the importance and inclusion of creativity alongside numeracy and literacy in today’s education. The event culminated with distributing participation certificates to the young artists as a token of appreciation for their efforts.
