Call to make Hirunika National List MP

The women’s organisations affiliated to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) have requested that Hirunika Premachandra, who can provide youth leadership, should be appointed to fill the vacancy of Minister Harin Fernando who was elected to Parliament from the SJB National List.

According to the ruling of the Supreme Court, Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara were stripped of their seats, and the National List seat held by Harin Fernando remains vacant.
