St. Peter’s College will meet St. Anthony’s College Katugastota in the semi-final of the U-15 Division Onbe schools cricket tournament at Royal College ground today (18).
St. Peter’s beat Maliyadeva College in the second round and beat St. Servatius College Matara in the pre-quarter-final.
The Peterites also beat Devapathiraja College Rathgama in the quarter finals and advanced to the semi-final.
St. Anthony’s advanced to the second round as the champion in their group in the first round.
They beat St. Benedict’s College in the second round and Maris Stella College Negombo in the pre-quarter-final.
They then drew against St. Joseph’s College in the quarter-final due to rain and advanced to the semi-final with the highest average on bonus points.
St. Anthony’s will be led by Sanithu Gunathilake and Stevon Peiris will lead St. Peter’s.
