Public relations agency, Nehemiah Consultants has launched a talent management agency – Role Models.
Founder of Role Models and Content Director of Nehemiah Consultants, Nishu Gunawardana said, “We are not a regular talent management company or an agent who represents celebrities. What we are is a hybrid model that acts as the bridge between the brand and the content creator. For years we have been working with celebrities from sports personalities to performing artists and even youth platforms that provide opportunities to the younger generation to find sponsorships and help them secure funding for enhancing their talents or competing on local and international stages.
“We felt though that the time was right to introduce a proper agent-type model that benefits not just the talent/creator but also the brands that associate themselves with them,” she said.
Role Models also works with emcees, voice-over artists, writers, artists, models to help them secure projects. The talent pool includes well known celebrities, beauty queens, sports personalities, radio and TV presenters, musicians, actors, and everyday Sri Lankans who may not have the opportunity or platforms to display their skills. “Our talent pool which ranges from toddlers to seasoned adults is a true embodiment of the words role model. When we picked the name for the company as well, I strongly believe it was divine because what I wanted was to have people who are not merely models but role models who carry unique personalities and gifts,” Gunawardana added.
Role Models has already worked on several projects with renowned tea, clothing, banking and finance, beverage and hospitality brands.
