We are all citizens of Sri Lanka. It is a small island in the Indian Ocean called the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. Our President is Ranil Wickremesinghe, and our Prime Minister is Dinesh Gunewardena. Sri Lanka’s capital is Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte. It has nine provinces and 25 districts. Ceylon tea, spices, rubber, and coconut are its exports, and we import machinery, vehicles, fabrics, and fuel. Sri Lanka is a beautiful island with a diversity of astonishing places. Some of these are Jaffna, Nuwara Eliya, and Trincomalee. There are also some beautiful Botanical Gardens, such as the Gampaha Garden and Peradeniya Garden. We have a much better climate than other countries with too much snow. We Sri Lankans are united. Together, we will improve our country. I am proud to be a Sri Lankan.
