High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the UK, Rohitha Bogollagama met, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Climate) Kerry McCarthy at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on September 2.
The High Commissioner and McCarthy discussed matters related to Sustainable Energy Goals and target for Carbon Neutrality through future Sustainable Energy investments as well as the establishment of the International Climate Change University in Sri Lanka. High Commissioner Bogollagama thanked the United Kingdom Government for investments in the power and energy sector in Sri Lanka in the past.
