Alumex PLC, an aluminium products manufacturer, obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management, and the ISO 14001:2015 certification for Environmental Management, from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution recently.
These certifications underscore the company’s commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental sustainability. The certifications cover operations at multiple Alumex PLC facilities.
The ISO 45001:2018 certification reflects adherence to rigorous standards for occupational health and safety, ensuring a secure working environment for all employees. Alumex PLC has also been verified for its organisational-level quantification and reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) and Removals based on the ISO 14064-3:2019 standard by the Sri Lanka Climate Fund, under the Ministry of Environment.
This verification assesses the company’s operational control business operations, underscoring the company’s commitment to transparent and accurate environmental performance reporting.
