Swisstek Aluminium secured the Gold Award in the Organisation category at the Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) Green Awards 2024 recently.
This award further solidifies the company’s position as Sri Lanka’s only sustainable aluminium extruder that meets the highest international standards with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018 certifications along with carbon footprint verification.
Swisstek Aluminium’s commitment to sustainable practices is demonstrated through our 1.5 MW rooftop solar panel system, which generates 6,000 kWh of clean energy daily and contributes to carbon neutralisation by reducing the carbon footprint by 192,600 kgCO2e every month.
Their Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant, with a capacity of 1.5 m³ per hour, exemplifies the commitment to resource conservation by reducing overall water consumption while enhancing operational efficiency.
